What exactly causes Botox resistance?

The main factors that induce resistance can be summarized into three categories. First, short treatment intervals (repeated treatments less than 3 months). Second, high-dose repeated administration, where injecting a large amount at once or excessive cumulative doses can strongly trigger immune responses. Third, the complex protein components that protect the toxin, which our immune system recognizes as foreign substances and forms neutralizing antibodies against. Once these antibodies are formed, even if the same dosage is administered, the effects may become minimal or the maintenance period may shorten.
