Swelling and bruising are natural reactions
Since this is an injection procedure, some swelling or bruising may occur afterward. This is the most common response and usually subsides naturally within 1–2 weeks, so there's no need to worry. Applying a cold compress in the early stages can help.
Do not press or touch the treated area strongly
The filler needs time to settle in place. For about 2 weeks after the procedure, avoid pressing the area strongly, getting facial massages, or sleeping face down, as these can alter the shape.
Avoid excessive heat exposure
Activities that raise body temperature, such as saunas, hot baths, or intense exercise, may worsen swelling or inflammation. Keeping cool for at least a week will support recovery.
Refrain from alcohol and smoking
Alcohol and smoking can trigger inflammation and dilate blood vessels, prolonging swelling and bruising. For healthy and faster recovery, it is best to avoid them for at least one week.
Light cleansing and makeup from the next day
To prevent infection at the injection site, cleansing and light makeup are recommended starting the next day. When cleansing, gently roll without rubbing the treated area too strongly.
Contact the clinic immediately if you notice these symptoms
If blisters appear at the treatment site, if skin color changes, or if severe pain persists to the point of disrupting daily life, contact the clinic right away to have your condition checked.
How are Restylane's NASHA™ and OBT™ technologies different?
These two technologies determine the "character" of the filler.NASHA™ technology makes the hyaluronic acid particles firm, giving them excellent support and stability. This makes it especially suitable for creating and maintaining defined shapes such as the nose bridge or chin tip.OBT™ technology creates a soft and flexible mesh structure of hyaluronic acid particles, allowing natural movement. This makes it most suitable for areas like the lips or nasolabial folds, which need to move naturally with facial expressions.
Both Juvederm and Restylane are famous—what's the difference?
Both are globally recognized fillers, but their approaches are slightly different. Juvederm is generally a very smooth gel type, with a strong advantage in blending softly with the skin to create "natural volume." In contrast, Restylane offers both firm types (NASHA™) and soft types (OBT™), giving it greater strength in "precise design" and "customized treatments." When you want to delicately sculpt a specific shape, Restylane can be a better choice.
Why is Restylane trusted worldwide?
Because it has been performed on countless people worldwide for a long time, accumulating vast clinical data on its long-term safety and effectiveness. The ability to predict treatment outcomes accurately, based on this rich data, gives the greatest confidence to both medical professionals and patients. This is why Restylane is called the "standard" of fillers.

It is the representative product that opened the era of hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers, a "classic" filler that has been used worldwide for a long time and proven its safety and effectiveness. Through its two patented technologies—NASHA™, which firmly shapes and holds structure, and OBT™, which allows soft and natural movement—it creates the most precise and natural results tailored to each treatment area.Based on long-standing trust, it is the most stable filler solution that realizes a customized design best suited for your face.
