Why do people receive both Ultherapy and Thermage together, referred to as 'Ulthermage'?

Ultherapy uses ultrasound (HIFU) energy to stimulate the deepest fascia (SMAS) layer to lift sagging lines, while Thermage delivers heat to the dermis layer using radiofrequency (RF) energy to aid collagen regeneration and improve skin texture. Since the two treatments target different skin layers, performing them together as 'Ulthermage' allows for simultaneous lifting of the fascia layer and tightening of the dermis layer.
